When Milan from Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac arrived at the mall to assist a sick dog, he immediately sensed the dog had lost all hope. The Good Samaritan who reported the situation mentioned that the dog, named Baby, refused to eat or drink.
The dog was huddled under shopping carts, too weak to even lift his head. Baby had been abandoned by his family, left dirty and covered in his own feces. He was so weak that he could no longer walk.
Milan's Care and Love
Milan carefully picked Baby up and rushed him to the hospital. The dog received an IV immediately but still refused food, seemingly too heartbroken from his abandonment to continue living. It took five days before Baby began waking up on his own, and only then did he start eating again.
With Milan's care, Baby slowly began to recover, proving once again that “love cures sadness and all emotional pain.”
Today, Baby is a completely different dog—clean, wagging his tail, and smiling, thanks to the patience and love he received from his rescuers.
