When actress Judy Greer discovered she’d be meeting a special pup for a Dodo Dream Date, she knew she wanted to create the ultimate surprise: a white Christmas in sunny Los Angeles.
The lucky dog was Missy, a sweet mama who’d been waiting for her forever home for nine long months. Missy had arrived at the shelter with her puppies, all of whom were quickly adopted. But Missy had been left behind, patiently hoping her turn would come.
Judy’s face lit up when she finally met Missy. “Well, I think you’ll have an easy time finding a home,” she told the affectionate pup. “I sure do!”
Wrapping Up the Holiday Spirit
After introductions and some bonding time, Judy and Missy dove into a festive activity: wrapping gifts for Missy to take to her new home. Judy even surprised Missy with a personalized knitted stocking to hold all her presents.

Their next project was even more creative: painting an ornament Missy could take with her to her future home. Judy decorated a snowflake with sparkling white, blue, and gold accents and proudly presented it to Missy. “Let’s see if you like your ornament,” Judy said, showing it off. “What do you think? Do you love it?”
