Colombian journalist Natalia Martínez López doesn't usually rely on Bogota's bustling municipal buses for her travels, but a recent ride might change her mind forever.
On this particular journey, she experienced unexpected joy, all thanks to a kind-hearted bus driver and his charming canine companion.
As López boarded the bus, one passenger instantly caught her attention—a dog lounging comfortably in a snug spot behind the driver.
“My reaction was pure love,” López told Loveanimalsclub. “The driver brought her to work that day, and it was clear she was well cared for.”
While expertly navigating the busy streets, the driver remained attentive to the road, never forgetting about his beloved furry friend at his feet.
“He would shower her with affection every time we hit a red light,” López recalled.
As passengers went about their own business during the ride, they were all united by one common sentiment.
“Not only was the driver visibly happy to have his dog by his side,” López noted, “but everyone who boarded the bus shared in that happiness, too.”
