The once-shy dog, initially hesitant and confused, has started to open up. He’s learned to enjoy being outside, wagging his tail, and playing with other dogs. Despite his medical needs—daily nasal clearing and eye drops for his dry eyes—Sniffles has become a sweet, playful pup who loves affection and is ready to find his forever home.
The local news in Orlando picked up Sniffles’ story, which led to a surge of interest from potential adopters. Over 100 people expressed interest in adopting him after hearing his story. However, finding the right home for Sniffles will require a committed adopter who understands his ongoing medical needs.
According to Rebecca Lynch from the shelter, "He’s a tough kid. Despite his tough past, he’s starting to come out of his shell and shows a lot of love. His little grunting noises and joy in being pet make him even more endearing."
