For Lucy, the adventurous Scottish Terrier, and her mom, this thrill of travel is something they've shared many times. But one trip didn’t quite go as smoothly as planned.
Upon arriving at the airport, Lucy’s mom did her usual double-check of the packing list, only to realize she had forgotten something essential!
There, in the middle of the airport, as they were about to head to security, it hit her: Lucy’s leash was missing!
“We’re at the airport, and we realized we forgot the leash… This is our only option,” Lucy’s mom said in the video, trying to remain calm.
Although it was a shocking moment, there was no time for panic. Lucy’s mom had to think quickly. After a brief pause, she came up with a brilliant solution.
In the video posted on Lucy's official Instagram, her mom showed off her makeshift leash: a doggy waste bag tied to another waste bag! It wasn't the ideal situation, but it was the only option to get them through security.
Lucy, of course, wasn’t pleased with the new leash. In the video, she turns her back on her mom, her expression clearly showing embarrassment and disappointment.
Viewers, however, found it hilarious!
“She’s like, ‘Are you kidding me, mom? You’re embarrassing me,’” one commenter wrote.
Another added, “Lucy isn’t mad, she’s just disappointed.”
And a third joked, “The only thing keeping that dog from escaping is lack of imagination.”
Despite the minor hiccup, they made it through security and boarded their flight, laughing about the situation and storing it away as yet another funny memory.
